It All Started Here
"New Vision was founded on and uses integrity, professional service, client relationships, family values, and creating value as the pillars on which it was built and sustained over the years.
In the future, incorporating the above principles into a three sided business model will guarantee a successful professional firm. The three sides of the triangle are composed of Planning (Strategic and Operational), Technology, and Execution in order to maximize the intrinsic value to our clients.
Success will be measured by a number of financial and nonfinancial metrics. Revenues and referrals will be generated from traditional (accounting, tax, consulting, and client family members) and nontraditional sources (Internet client referrals, social media, etc.) An integral part of execution is internally created innovation.
Using the tools available, analysis of the facts, making a decision, and figuring out a practical and cost effective way to implement a fresh and innovative solution to the problem will be the challenge in the future. In order to maintain a relevant relationship with our clients, our firm will function as a business partner focusing on the future and not in the past."

It’s a big jump from advertising, but Susan brought her love for people to a career more conducive to raising a family – accounting! At New Vision, Susan handles tax returns of all types – 1040s, 1120s, 1041s for trusts, 1065s for partnerships, and 990s for not-for-profit entities. Not only does she prepare and review returns and do the accounting side work for our business customers, she also provides consulting on cash flow and compliance, and provides guidance on tax law. She enjoys working with our customers on tax savings strategies. Susan’s goal –whether she’s working with an individual or a business – is to take care of her customer’s burdens and make the tax compliance process as seamless as possible. When she’s not working, you can find Susan spending time with her husband, son, and walking her beloved dog. Susan is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
Most likely, when you first come through New Vision’s doors or call us on the phone, you’ll encounter Kelly McInerney. Kelly does it all; she handles all customer information that comes to us, manages reception and makes appointments, and keeps our office communications organized and efficient. Kelly worked at KPMG for four years and now calls New Vision her “second home.” For her, the administrative role is a place to grow and learn. When she’s not at work, she’s keeping up with her young son and always on the lookout for her next nap.
